Innovative Labeling Solutions (ILS) first entered the digital print sector in 2005, and the company’s objective was to strategically grow the digital division as a part of its core business. Nine years later, Ohio-based ILS’s portfolio of services is now one of the most comprehensive in the industry. With four HP Indigo WS6600 printing presses, ILS offers customers prime labels, flexible packaging, shrink sleeves and folding cartons for consumer product companies.

To reach an even greater segment of the consumer packaged goods market, ILS added the new HP Indigo 20000, and now, to run alongside it, the company has a new Digicon 3000, the result if a joint venture between Edale and AB Graphic International. The Digicon 3000 is a 30 inch wide digital print finishing system that enables printers to convert pressure sensitive labels and flexible packaging when run inline with the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press.

The partnership between Edale and AB Graphic showcases the companies open approach to engineering, as well as bringing over 100 years combined technical experience to this new product. “Edale prides itself on solving problems and working with our customers and suppliers to develop the right products as markets change and evolve, and alongside our technology partner AB Graphic we have successfully achieved this with the Digicon 3000,” comments James Boughton, managing director for Edale.
